“This Little Boy" was given up for Adoption by a young 20 yr Old Woman.

This little Boys Mother was 20 years Old when he was born.She was single and living with her Father. Her Occupation was home duties and she spent her time looking after her Father, Brothers and Sisters, and her other Child, a girl, aged 18 Months. Her Religion was Methodist. She was of good Health and there was no History of Asthma, Eczema, Epilepsy, T.B or Mental Disorders.

Her Mother and Father were separated. She was described by the Social Worker Involved as being of average intelligence,height and build with brown hair,blue eyes and fair complexion. She was of Australian Nationality.

The Little Boys Father was 25 years of age, at the time he was born. He was single, although it appeared that The Little Boys Natrual Mother and He eventually intended to Marry. The Little Boys Natrual Father was English / Dutch and his Ocupation was a Truck Driver. He was described by The Little Boys Natrual Mother as being of average height, medium build, light brown hair and blue / green eyes. According to the Little Boys Natrual Mother, he was also the Father of the Little Boys Sister...

This Little Boy was born at The Local Hospital in the Suburbs and weighed 4.070 kgms at birth. His Progress in Hospital was satisfactory and uncomplicated.

This Little Boy was placed with his first Adoptive Parents in June 1965 and when seen by a Social Worker Two Months later, This Little Boy was said to be Healthy and the Parents were Happy with him.

The Adoptive Parents also had two other Adopted Children , two girls aged five years and 6 months.

As time progressed, This Little Boys Adoptive Parents were finding increasing difficulty in being able to fulfil This Little Boys needs. ( as described in other posts ) and the Adoptive Parents Applied for the Adoption to be Discharged, which was approved and became effective in October 1971.

This Little Boy was placed in the Custody of the Director of Social Welfare and Aboriginal Affairs.

During this time This Little Boy was staying at Glandore Boys Home. This little Boy remembers a little bit about staying there. He remembers Aunty Margaret who was always so kind and loving. She use to make him tug boats in his bed. ( tuck his sheets blankets in tight ) He remembers her daughter who was a school Teacher. She also was very loving and kind. 

There was a lady with a little green Torana This Little Boy Recalls who use to make him stand next to her car in the shed while she would start it up and warm it up. The Little Boys distinctly remembers the smell of the fumes. In the garden there was a fishpond. This Little Boy and other boys use to play in the backyard a lot.
