He first made contact via Telephone. The little Boy was still living with his first Adoptive Parents.
He went around to the Phone box in the next street after locating them in the phone Book.
Important thing to remember is that The Little Boy was aware of his first surname. When the Adoption was discharged, The Little Boy was given back his Birth Mothers Surname.
The Little Boy rang the Parents and introduced himself.
They seemed surprised, Happy to hear from him. In the Intial phone call, there were many silent moments. It seemed as though they were not sure of what The Little Boy wanted.
The Little Boy explained to the Adoptive Mother on the Telephone that he was trying to write a book and get some closure, and he was trying to locate all his Foster/adoptive Parents.
After about a Twenty Minute Phone Call, The Adoptive Mother was fine with meeting with the Little Boy.
After hanging up, The Little Boy ran back to his Home very Excited.
He ran into the House and said to his Present Adoptive Mother and Father, he had found and spoken to his first Adoptive Parents.
They appeared to be surprised and dazed with a look of Disbelief.
The Little Boy went onto say that he had arranged to go and meet with them. The Adoptive Parents supported The Little Boy in his decision but appeared to be in disbelief really.
On the same afternoon , The Little Boy changed his Clothes and went around the corner to Jump on the Bus to Visit these people.
Mixed emotions The Litttle Boy was having because of his vague Memory's as Previously mentioned but also The Little Boy at this stage was a young Adult and he had read The Affadavit Supporting the Discharge of the Adoption.
The time had come , The little Boy arrived at their House. As he walked up their driveway he remembers the house. Remembering going up and down their Driveway in his Little Red Car.
He knocked on the door and the Adoptive Mother answered.
BELOW IS AN ACTUAL DIARY NOTE “THE LITTLE BOY " WROTE IN THE MID NINETYS.
MY VISIT TO FIRST ADOPTED PARENTS 6TH MARCH 1995
This Little Boy writes - When first getting their, I felt their was some sort of Barrier between them and himself. Maybe they were feeling guilty, or maybe it was just uncomfortable for them to see me after so many years.
The Little Boy started to ask Questions about what sort of kid He was and what things did he use to get up to. The Little Boy clearly states he remembers The adoptive Mother kept saying, We'll I don't remember much and every time she said this, she remembered something else.
The Adoptive Mother did most of the Talking and The Adoptive Father really just sat back and let his wife do all the talking The Little Boy Recalls. Sometimes as the night progressed The adoptive Father opened up more.
The Little Boy recalls a good moment when he told them both the reason for coming to see them was at that time, his intention was to write a Book about his life and how he had dealt with things in his life, and The Little Boy went onto say that at that time, he had The Holy Spirit living inside of him.
The Adoptive Mother said to The Little Boy, Your a Christian to?
The Little Boy replied, yes and went onto explain to both the Parents how he believed God had looked after him throughout his life and he continued to tell them briefly what he had Experienced. ( Life after them )
After the Little boy briefly told his story and told them that he was a Christian, The Little Boy recalls How open they both became and The Adoptive Mother started to remember heaps of things The Little Boy writes.
In 1965, The Adoptive Parents had an Adopted Daughter called ................. Who was about 18 months Older than The Little Boy. When The Little Boy was 16 days Old , he went to live with these Adoptive Parents. He writes , They adopted me legally when I was 16 days Old?
The Little Boy continued to write saying, They both apparently wanted another girl, we'll it seemed as though The Adoptive Mother said They wanted another girl, but they got him The Adoptive Mother actually said. The adoptive Mother went onto say that they both picked him up from the Hospital.
